Introducing our NEW newsletter!

A big welcome to the 2017-2018 school year from the Department of Marketing. As you will see in this newsletter, many great things happened last year and much is planned for 2017-2018. In the way of big picture highlights, the Marketing Major is now the second largest on campus and growing.  Why? In part because we have great faculty and students,  but also because we have a large and welcoming group of Corporate Partners. Our student organizations and sales teams continue to soar nationally and internationally. Looking forward to one heck of a year!

There are many opportunities that the Marketing department provides through coursework, conferences, sales competitions, career fairs, certificates, and other events. Also, our student organizations provide even more learning opportunities through AMA (American Marketing Association), MKT (Mu Kappa Tau Honor Society) and PSE (Pi Sigma Epsilon).

In June, the UW-Whitewater chapter of AMA organized the 2nd Annual Richard Telfer-AMA Minority Business Student Scholarship Golf Outing.

There were over 85 people in attendance, including AMA students, Marketing Department faculty, and many sponsors from local companies such as Sherwin Williams, C.H. Robinson, Arien’s Company, Victor Envelope, Impact, Aerotek, Primex, Acurite, Federated Insurance, TEKSystems and Lueder Financial Group.
