On Friday, April 28th, students participated in the last sales competition for the academic year, Relationship Selling, sponsored by Northwestern Mutual. This competition, one of many throughout the year, is one way that students can earn Sales Cup points. Throughout the year, students have been earning and accumulating points with the goal of winning the annual Sales Cup. Points are given for participating in internal and external sales competitions, certificate programs, job fairs and networking events. Winning at sales competitions awards more points. The Northwestern Mutual Relationship Selling event was the last chance for students to earn points and determine the Sales Cup Winners!
CONGRATULATIONS to Stephanie Mueller, the Grand Champion of the Sales Cup! She was awarded $1500 from our sponsor, Northwestern Mutual. Stephanie was also one of the Advanced Division Champions from the Relationship Selling competition. Ashley Gillitzer was Runner-Up for the Sales Cup, winning $1000 from ABC Supply and also was an Advanced Division Champion from the Relationship Selling competition. Nick Rasmussen also was Runner-Up for the Sales Cup, winning $1000 from CH Robinson and a Runner-Up for the Advanced Division Relationship Selling competition.
We are very proud of all our student competitors! There were a total of 17 Sales Cup Winners, earning nearly $10,000 from corporate sponsors – Northwestern Mutual, ABC Supply, CH Robinson, Aerotek, Steinhafels, BMO Harris, Sherwin Williams, Federated Insurance, CED, Impact, JJ Keller, TekSystems, Marine Credit Union, and Penske Truck Leasing.
The Northwestern Mutual Relationship Selling Competition awarded over $3,000 to a total of 15 winners!
